Superfine and almost invisible wires embedded within the laminated glass ensure an efficient electrically-powered defrosting and defogging solution.
Features and benefits
01
Convenient
Silent electrical de-icing at the touch of a button
02
Good visibility
Ensures efficient defogging in humid conditions all year long
03
Localized heating
Targeted heating options for wipers, cameras, or sensors
04
Environmentally friendly
Enables fuel savings and decreases CO2 emissions by reducing air conditioning needs
05
Efficient and fast
Faster de-icing with integrated wires which are located very close to the ice
Technical information
01
Performance
Heating the glass from the inside ensures fast results with low energy consumption. For example, deicing in less than 12 minutes in a -18°C environment; deicing in less than 5 minutes in a -7°C environment
02
Wiper defrosting
Targeted heating of the wiper area is possible, ensuring better safety through longer durability of wiper blades and improved wiping. Heating can be targeted on other parts of the windshield, such as A-pillar, cameras, and so on.
03
12V and 48V system
Works with standard automotive electrical systems 12V and 48V.
04
Compatibility
Compatible with other windshield technologies such as acoustic glazing, thin glazing, and head-up display.
