Significant weight savings for tempered glass

For side windows and backlites: thicknesses down to 2.85 mm are available, resulting in a weight reduction of 0.8 kg/m² compared to standard glass thickness (3.15 mm).

Significant weight savings for laminated glass

For windshields, the use of thinner outer and inner glass sheets leads to a weight reduction of about 4 kg per windshield vs. the standard configuration.

No impact on glass durability

For laminated glass, the thickness difference between the outer glass and the inner glass contributes to the resistance to stone impacts. The greater the gap, the better the performance.
