AGC Automotive Europe announces its participation in InnoTrans 2026, showcasing glass innovations to shape the future of train transportation.

InnoTrans, the leading international trade fair for transport technology, will take place from September 22 to 25, 2026, in Berlin. A must-attend event for AGC Transport and Industrial Vehicles Glazing division, which will feature a dedicated booth to exhibit its latest cutting-edge technologies for the railway industry.

Our Cinema Blade offers a comfortable, immersive solution for viewing any type of multimedia content. In addition to protecting passengers from draughts, our Light Screen enables instant orientation thanks to its illuminated display. Highly flexible in terms of design and color customization, this product meets all manufacturer display requirements.

The sense of comfort is also reflected in the materials used inside trains. The possibilities are endless for upgrading interior aesthetics using the range of decorative glass from FeelInGlass^™ by AGC. These surfaces can also transform into interactive displays, where hidden icons and backlit information appear only when needed for controls or passenger information.

For commuters and business travelers, the train is a mobile workspace where strong and stable cellular performance onboard must be guaranteed, without compromise.

Our Transparent 5G Glass Antenna is seamlessly integrated into the window, stabilizing radio signal transmission and reception even at high speeds, thereby enhancing Wi‑Fi quality for passengers. Its transparent design preserves passengers’ view through the glass.

Our WAVETHRU^™ Retrofit from Pulsaart^™ by AGC solves the challenge of weak mobile signals caused by coated train windows. Using a precise laser treatment, it turns existing train windows into a gateway for stronger mobile connectivity, without replacing the glass nor impacting its thermal insulation.

AGC Automotive has developed Lightweight Glass dedicated to train applications: a laminated glass for side windows that is up to 35%* lighter than traditional glazing while fully preserving safety and performance standards.

Finally, DUO ready-to-install window module is showcased, combining glass and aluminum frame into a single supply, so railway OEMs no longer need to source and coordinate two separate components from two separate suppliers.
